As Chief Executive Officer of Oceanic Partners, Tim Sullivan is accountable for the strategic direction and functional execution of business objectives. Formerly, as CEO of MicroVentures, Tim took the startup firm from less than $100K per year to over $3M per month run rate in deal flow and execution. Prior to MicroVentures, Tim was President and second employee of SharesPost Financial Corporation, where he built the firm’s transactions team and trading infrastructure, which were responsible for SharesPost’s preeminent position in today’s secondary market. Tim transacted with over 30 private issuers, including Facebook, Tesla, Twitter, LinkedIn, Etsy, Zynga, Kayak, SpaceX, Chegg, and Jawbone. His transactions totaled over $1B, resulting in over $30M net revenue to SharesPost. As an investor, Tim participates actively at both the angel and late stages, with a personal portfolio of over 40 private companies. Previously, Tim has held leadership roles at Susquehanna Financial Group, Oracle, and IBM. Throughout Tim’s career, he has managed more than $3B worth of private equity transactions and enjoys a consistent track record of surpassing expectations. Tim has a BA in Political Science from Colgate University and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 66, 79, and 99 licenses.
