Investment Director at Softbank Vision Fund

Based in London, Sakshi is a member of the SoftBank Vision Fund’s investment team and has played a driving role in the Fund’s investments in some of the world’s most transformative companies. Working across a range of sectors but with particular experience in healthcare and life sciences, she has a focus on the huge opportunities presented through the intersection of computation and biology and the role that the genomic revolution can play in addressing some of the largest issues facing society. Last year Sakshi led a $1bn equity investment into Roivant Sciences and serves on the board of a number of Vision Fund portfolio companies. 

Sakshi sees businesses from both a corporate and entrepreneurial perspective. She began her career at Pfizer before launching her own textiles brand and has since moved into investment. This experience enables her to often transition into operating roles within portfolio companies to help reinforce their growth strategy. Sakshi joined SoftBank Investment Advisers in 2016 and is passionate champion of women in asset management.  She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Birmingham.
