Philipp Kandal is engineering Senior VP at Telenav a leading global technology company. He is in charge of the 400+ people engineering team in Silicon Valley where he is based as well as in Romania and China.

Before skobbler was acquired by Telenav in 2014 he was co-founder and CTO of Skobbler, a pioneering navigation company. Philipp is deeply passionate about how autonomous vehicles will transform transportation and save millions of lives.

Besides this, Philipp is an avid believer in startups and follows this passion as an angel investor and advisor for several young companies. He is an expert in emerging markets and offering regular coaching and training there
